It is with great grief that we inform you that our founder and former director of Spirotech has passed away last Thursday 27 January in his sleep at the age of 93 years old.

Mr Roffelsen founded Spirotech in the early eighty’s after having successfully invented and traded technical products in his first enterprise Metallo which was established in 1948.
Under his supervision the company grew from an emerging business to an international operating business that still leads with innovative products which are respected worldwide

We all remember him not only as the knowledgeable and creative inventor that he was. We also remember him as a successful and engaged entrepreneur and visionair.

Most of all however we remember him as the warm and respectful gentleman that he was towards all people surrounding him whether partners, customers, employees or his family.

Even after handing over the ownership to his son Erik and his wife Nelleke he kept an interest in the company and visited us frequently still enthusiastic and full of ideas.

We will miss him dearly.
